We are proud to announce that Summer Donnelly's story, Truth and Consequences, was voted the winner in the third Inanna's Game Cycle, sponsored by Wenebojo. Taking a single snippet, character, and scene from the required ingredients, Summer created an immersive, lovely romantic short story. Delivering the great stories that her fans have come to expect, she submitted a tale that warms the heart. We are looking forward to the next challenge that starts tomorrow at 2 PM Central (-6:00 GMT)! I am thrilled with the stories that are coming out, even if some of you are reluctant to post them. If you are shy, please feel free to PM me on Facebook! Remember that all stories posted for the Inanna's Game remain the copyrighted work of the submitting author...

The webinar looked at the need for the targeted development of story characters and how dimensionality can be coupled with character reveals to achieve longevity and loyalty from readers. This is the first part of a longer topic. The second portion will be on the schedule for later this summer.  If there are any outstanding questions from the class, please feel free to post here! As a courtesy to those that were unable to attend the class, a limited time link to the raw recording of the webinar can be streamed from here!...

Topic Talk - Outlines - Why and What Kind? The discussion on outlines was interesting and is key to less-stressful writing. The webinar looked at the differences in types of outline and how each can be useful, as long as both the writer's goals and creative process are taken into account. The relative use of methods, such as  Beats, Formal, Snippet, Pantser, and Fat Outlining will hopefully be of use to the attendees in their writing careers! If there are any outstanding questions from the class, please feel free to post here! ...
